Suspicious Calls: 

  • We only contact you for reasons previously communicated through official emails or online chatbot texts. 
  • Our agents will never ask you to install software on your machine or seek remote access. This is a common tactic used by fraudsters.  
  • Our agents will never pressure you to act quickly or use threats or intimidation. We pride ourselves on courteous and patient interactions. If you’re ever in doubt, please end the call and contact support through our chatbot or by sending an email support@sagefx.com 

 

Email or SMS 

  • Do not open any emails or SMS that contain links that seem fraudulent. We will always communicate with you through our domain “support@sagefx.com” and will never request information such as bank details or passwords over the phone. If you are suspicious, you may email our support to request confirmation of the information we have requested from you. 

Here are a few safety precautions you can take to protect yourself:
 

  • Secure your internet connection. Always be cautious about what information you are sending over public Wi-Fi networks, particularly payments.

  • Download from reliable sources. Only download the necessary software from verified sources. Downloading unknown software may result in viruses or malware on your device. Just keep in mind that our representatives will never request you to install software on your device or request remote access.

  • Check the website’s security. Browsers do a great job at detecting whether a website is fraudulent or not. This can be checked by viewing the URL bar. If a padlock icon is there, the connection is secure, and the website may be viewed. 
  • Keep your Privacy Settings On: Hackers can easily learn a lot about you from your browsing history and social media usage. Nowadays, many browsers and mobile operating systems have settings to protect your privacy online. Make sure to enable these privacy safeguards.

During this time, you can deposit up to $2,000 without needing to verify your identity.

 

However, after the 30-day period, you will be required to complete Identity verification process to continue trading.

 

Failing to complete the verification process after the grace period will result in restrictions on your account, including the inability to trade until verification is completed.

 

For Identity verification, we will be able to accept ONE of the following;

  • Passport
  • Drivers License
  • Residence Documentation
  • National Identity Card

 

Please Note: Forms of ID like temporary residence permits are not accepted as proof of identification. 

 

Our Guidelines:

  • Needs to be a government-issued document.
  • We need to have the front and back of the document
  • Must be able to see the full document. All four corners and not cropped.
  • Client must be aged 18 or over.
  • Document cannot be expired, must still be valid/in date.
  • Cannot be a screenshot from a computer or mobile device.
  • Must state your Date of Birth.
  • Please ensure the document is not password protected.

 

Documents that look tampered with or irregular will be denied.

 

*Clients aged under 18 years old will have their accounts disabled instantly.

  • It’s clear and readable
  • Nothing is edited

Not Acceptable:

 

 

  • We do not accept cropped documents.
